Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Flipstr (the “Service”), software that helps short-term rental operators manage cleaning, laundry, and turnover operations. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Flipstr. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account, including team members you invite (admins, cleaners, and laundry staff).

2. The service

Flipstr lets you connect a property management system, automatically create and schedule turnover jobs, assign work to staff, and verify completion with photo checklists. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

3. Free trial and subscriptions

New accounts include a 60-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and you are billed under our per-unit pricing based on the number of active units you manage. Pricing details are shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for applicable fees.

4. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the data and content you submit to Flipstr, including property details, job records, and photos. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the data you upload, including any guest or third-party information synced from your property management system.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our infrastructure.
Reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service or interfere with its operation.
Upload content that infringes others' rights or violates applicable law.

6. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties such as Hostaway (PMS sync), Stripe (payments), Convex (hosting), and Resend (email). Your use of those integrations may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or be free of errors.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flipstr will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
