Delete your account
You can delete your Flipstr account yourself, at any time, from the mobile app or on the web. Deletion is permanent and takes effect right away: you are signed out on every device and your login stops working.
In the mobile app
- Open Settings. Owners and admins find it under More.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Read what is deleted and what your team keeps, type DELETE, and tap Delete my account.
On the web
Sign in and open Delete account (also linked from your Account or Profile page). The steps are the same as in the app.
If you own a team
A team always needs an owner. If you are the only owner of a team, the deletion screen first asks you to either make another member the owner, or delete the team. Deleting a team requires typing its name, and permanently deletes everything in it: properties, jobs, checklists, photos, pay records, chat and settings. Its Flipstr subscription is cancelled at the same time.
What we delete
- Your login: password and any Google sign-in.
- Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
- Your team memberships, device registrations for notifications, notification settings and your notifications.
- The payment handles you saved (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Zelle) and any pending invitations sent to your email address.
What your team keeps
The business records of work you did for a team stay with that team: the jobs you worked and their checklists, your pay and payout records, photos you took on jobs, and messages you sent. Content reports you made, and reports other members made about you or something you posted, also stay with the team as its safety record. Your name is removed from them and they show you as “Former member”. Our payment processor, Stripe, keeps its own records of past payments as the law requires.
Can't sign in?
Email privacy@flipstr.co from the address on your account and ask us to delete it.
The shared demo logins used for app review cannot be deleted. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.
